THE setting wasn't London but the Olympic spirit prevailed at the Waterfront Insular Hotel on August 10 with its garden transformed into a venue fit for "Olympians" as the hotel kept the torch lighted to celebrate their partnership with their top clients for 2011.
Davao City's landmark hotel takes great pleasure in acknowledging its top corporate and travel agents who have, in many ways, been relentlessly supporting the organization over these years.
Co-organized with Primer group of Companies and Planet Infinity, the event was enthusiastically presented all out to its top clients in celebrating their unwavering loyalty and steadfast confidence.
The appreciation night is an annual event held with creative themes that are unique to a particular year. This year, guests and hotel employees paraded in their Olympic attire.
Dubbed "Olympic Chic," the event successfully registered an impressive list of guests including corporate organizations, travel agents and media representatives with the presence of Waterfront Insular Hotel general manager Rouel P. Guanzon.
Guanzon took pride in saying that the gathering gives them an opportunity to thank all clients and guests for making 2011 another resounding success and a rewarding year.
"We believe, as with the past years and in the years to come, we will continue living a legacy of service. For us, the five rings of the Olympics best describe all five hotels that make up the Waterfront Hotels and Casinos -- working in unison, together in reaching out to every guest with utmost passion, dedication and excellence as exemplified here at the Waterfront Insular Davao," Guanzon said.
The night of entertainment, raffle draw and other surprises was capped with everyone looking forward to what the theme of next year's clients appreciation night will be.
