Not giving in to sweet cravings

IF THERE'S a poll on which among the top quality bakeries in town that can make a tasty cinnamon rolls and other delectable pastries, Annipie is sure to make it in the shortlist.
Why not? Its wide selection of tasty cookies, cakes, muffins, and breads can already speak for themselves better than any words can describe. Annipie has earned its name as a popular pit stop in Ecoland over the years for the same obvious reason.
Just recently, we happened to pass by there as two of my friends, who I came along with over the weekend, were really craving for a delightful treat as though they couldn't let the night to end without them getting a taste of any sweets.
Just after we pigged out at Yellow Fin Tuna, we made our way to Annipie since it was just a few minutes' walk away from where we were. I wasn't really hankering for any desserts as I had sworn to be in control of my sweet cravings earlier, but not until the moment we stepped inside the store.
The haze of cinnamon aroma wafting out welcomed us just as we opened the door, but I wasn't giving in to my sweet tooth just like that. I had to, I ought to, I must keep my words. No more sweets for the night and that's non-negotiable.
Annipie doesn't only serve pastries, it also offers both hot and ice-blended coffee. Among the best-sellers are Mocha Chill, Caramel Chill, Choco Caramel Chill, and White Mocha Chill for the creamy ice-blended while Cappucino, Cafe Latte, Cafe Mocha, and White Mocha for the hot coffee.
Nui Tran Nhu Phuong, one of my friends who came from Vietnam, got herself the Choco Caramel Chill, a best mate for her sweet cinnamon roll while Krissy ordered a box of assorted cinnamon rolls.
"It's a must whenever I go to Annipie," Phuong said.
It took quite a while before their orders were ready.
With great pastries around, it was such a struggle holding on to my craving.
