'Star of Davao' is back

SINGING search puts spotlight on local talents with the return of NCCC Supermarket's premiere singing search, the Star of Davao.
Auditions will open February 11 and cover two months until April 11, 2013.
The competition is open to all amateur singers 15-24 years old and a resident of Davao City, Davao del Norte or Davao del Sur.
Show off your vocal prowess on these dates and venues: public auditions begin February 11 and end on April 11 at NCCC Main Magsaysay, Mall Davao and Mall Tagum Supermarket promo redemption center, while school auditions will start on February 25 until March 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at NCCC Mall Davao Activity Center.
This year's grand winner will take home P150,000 in cash and gift certificates while the first and second runners up will receive P70,000 and P50,000 in cash and gift certificates, respectively. A consolation prize of P17,500 in cash is given to 10 semi-finalists.
Grand finals will be on August 10, 2013 at NCCC Mall Davao.
Participating products to this event includes Nestea, Milo, Nescafe, Dove, Surf, Cream Silk, Monde Nissin, One One, Lucky Me, Axion, Colgate Palmolive, Downy, Safeguard, Olay, Century Tuna and 555 Tuna.
