Whirlpool holds laundry seminar

AS PART of its corporate citizenship program and to assist interested entrepreneurs to start an effective and profitable laundry business, Whirlpool will be holding a two-day laundry seminar on March 15 to 16, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at North Palm Hotel & Garden on JP Laurel ave. in Davao City.
The seminar organized by Whirlpool, the world's leading manufacturer of washing machines as well as other major appliances, is intended to support, educate and encourage people who are looking for new businesses to get into a lucrative industry.
Participants in this seminar will learn the important aspects on how to put up a laundry business and will be taught the rudiments of doing laundry.
They will also be introduced to such details as what machines, detergents and other elements to use.
Likewise, they will be told where to get laundry equipment, detergents and dry-cleaning solvents as well as the details of business management and financing.
Interested participants will be charged a fee of P1,950 inclusive of lunch, snacks and seminar handouts to be used throughout the sessions. Participants who register on or before February 28 will be given a discounted rate of P1,600. Seminar speakers and demonstrators have wide-ranging experiences in starting a laundry business and proven expertise in this line of work.
