Take down the walkers

-A A +A

ONE virus started it all from somewhere nobody knows where that spread across the globe, and then swept humanity in one instant.

Although, not entirely because in a few isolated regions on each continent of the world, there exist the survivors who are in hiding from zombies. Others call them undead. The walkers, former humans who turned into now insatiable monsters which are always in hunt for human flesh.
However, in these few isolated havens, people scramble to get foods, and fight against each other over foods for sustenance.

That's how zombie apocalypse brings doomsday to people who foretell the approaching end of humanity. Thankfully, this is, at least, happening in zombie films, TV series, games, and not in reality, or should we say, not in our immediate future.

There's a new game on Android that reflects similar scenario when ex-humans called zombies start rising from the dead and chase after every living creature in the world.

Dead Trigger 2, created by Madfinger Games, is now making waves among zombie fans in Google Playstore, with already millions of gamers from all over the world trying to save the world defaced by the apocalypse.

Get your guns ready and keep as much bullets as you can, as there are over a thousand fleet of completely famished zombies that are going to rule the world that will hunt what's left of few human life forms.

In the game, the rule is just simple: reclaim the world from the undead.

One of the biggest draws of Dead Trigger 2 is its astonishing high definition graphics that can go well with your smartphone's Amoled screens, making it a perfect alternative to computer games. Another is it's downloadable for free.

The game opens to a world map where gamer is given the outright task to save the non-player characters (NPCs) such as gunsmith, medic, scientist, smuggler, and engineer who are trapped in buildings and other ruins with zombies.

The NPCs, when rescued, can provide items to players they need to the game. They also upgrade your gears.

Location to reclaim starts with South Africa. The tasks, so as the regions reclaimed, get wider as the game progresses. China is next, USA, and then the rest of the world.

If you think reclaiming regions once populated by humans is an easy task, then you're wrong, as the level of difficulty is unique to each mission.

One zombie is easy to take down, but a pack of them is not. But, save your grenades for the much powerful zombies such as kamikaze, vomitron, scientist, etc. Mind you, they are almost invincible using only the firearms.

For some bosses killed, you get a blueprint that you can give to the technician to unlock new arms you can use in every mission.

This is not all about taking down the zombies that come your way. In some missions, for instance, you are tasked to escort someone who's trapped in a place outrun by a zombie to safety. Sometimes, all you need is to defend your fortress; the entrances to the safe hideouts must be cleared.

In all, this isn't what most of the games we know in Playstore. Unlike other games that purely entertain, Dead Trigger 2 scares, as it engages you to a high level of thrill.

This has a goal -- that is to exterminate zombies and regain firm footing in the world.
