HOLIDAY Gym, in its effort to maximize its facility and at the same time encourage their members to engage in sports, held an indoor triathlon last February 1. It was done to usher in heart's month, with different exercises to keep the hearts in good shape.

It was one of the events lined up for this month of love. The indoor triathlon had two categories: individual and team, and age groups for the individual category. For those competing individually, they had to accomplish 400-m swim, 10-km spin/bike (resistance at level 8 for male and level 4 for female), and 3-km run. For the team relay, one member had to swim for 600 meters, while the other one had to bike/spin for 18km, while the runner of the team had to run for 7 kms.

The winners were: Phine Merano (1st place, 30 & above category, female), JJ Sarona (1st, 29 & below category, male), JP Pacheco (1st, 30 & above category, male), while those who placed second were Denzel Cimafranca (29 & below, male), Roel Rodrigo (30 & above, male), and for 3rd place, Bong Dela Cerna (30 & above, male).

The team of Luis Leh, Zham Sur, and Tristan Aquino emerged as champions for the relay; while JP Trinidad, JC Payumo, & Robert Joe placed 2nd, followed by the team of Raymuin Libre, Marianne Macaraeg & Mark Ibanez in the 3rd place. Finishing 4th was the team comprised of Alking Naduaran, Argie Rellon, & Jun Valmonte. (PR)
