Fun, candy coloured bags for summer

-A A +A

AS WE plan out to enjoy the beach this summer, we always make sure that our outfit is ready – from our swimming attire to accessories.

And when we say accessories, these don’t only point out to swimsuit cover-up, shawl, bling-bling and eyewear. For a lot of kikay women like me, hats and bags that would complement our swimwear will surely complete the outfit. Yes, we always want to be fashionable whatever season it is and wherever we go.

Yvette Marie Punzalan, a Dabawenya bag and fashion accessory designer and producer, has her own take about summer fashion.

She shared that while we intend to keep up with the latest trend, it doesn’t mean that we have to only wear the signature brands which might make us broke in the end.

Yvette’s creations particularly her bags and hats, for example, are made of plastic straw are way more affordable when compared to signature brands. But mind you, her creations are at par with the most famous brands, and these are highly-sought in the international markets, too.

Her creations can be fashion staples which the chic and trendy women can don when out to enjoy summer.

Her bags

For summer, Yvette said that the bright-coloured bags and hats must be our choice because they exude happiness and resemble fun and excitement.
“It’s summer time. Therefore, we must go out and enjoy the sun. We must have fun,” she said.

When going to the beach or just want to unwind with friends in the malls, Yvette’s suggestion is for us to use the big bags where we can put all our kikay stuff and daily essentials.

“It’s better that we have everything we need inside our bag. Minsan kasi we opt to use smaller bags and regret it eventually because we’ve left some stuff behind,” she said.

Yvette has a wide range of colours and designs for her bags, thus, we have so much choices to pick. Personally, I love the candy-coloured spiral bags of Yvette. They just look so fabulous and stylish!

Her hats

If we want to look fashionable while protecting our skin from the scorching heat of the sun, we can choose from the different colours of Yvette’s hats, which can also be worn by our little girls.

And since her products are made of plastic straws, we can wash them and viola, they look brand new again!
