KAPUSO actress Solenn Heussaff has shared that she is not a "fashionista" contrary to what most people think of her.

In an interview with the Davao entertainment press on Friday at Let's Crab Eat Restaurant here, the 29-year-old Kapuso star revealed that while it is a known fact that she is a fashion designer and make-up artist by profession, she really isn't a fashionista and a make-up chick. Well, I could vouch for that because when she arrived for the press interview, the French-Filipina beauty was just wearing a pair of denim shorts and a hoodie on top of her black tank. She was just in sneakers, too. And yes, she was not wearing any make-up as well (except for face powder, perhaps?).

According to Solenn, she does not have the patience to plan out for the next day's OOTD (outfit of the day), something which is commonly done by women, especially if they are going out of town. As for her, she only keeps on wearing the same styles of outfits every time she is going out.

"Hindi ako masyadong fashionista. Everyone thinks that I'm a fashionista. Pero naman kapag may events ako, I know the trends dahil nga designer ako dati. May taste naman ako. Pero kapag sa totoong buhay, ayaw kong mag-isip kung ano ang susuutin ko so lagi akong naka-jogging pants, sports clothes. Mas kumportable kasi talaga ako sa sports clothes," she said.

She also added that she is never a fan of high heels, that's why, she does not know how to walk using them. "Ayaw kong mag-high heels, masakit sa paa. Hindi ko kayang maglakad. At sa lahat ng brands ngayon, the fashion is medyo sporty-sporty because people are more practical nowadays. And it's not good to wear heels all the time. So 'yon, chill chill lang ako," she said.

Catch Solenn and her friend Isabelle Daza every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on GMA News TV's Taste Buddies to learn more of her fashion style and her beauty secrets toward keeping herself fit and gorgeous.

Taste Buddies is a lifestyle show that gives its audience some treats or ideas on how to satisfy their cravings for food, fashion, trends, events, and even places.
