RENOWNED make-up brand Make-up Art Cosmetics (MAC) celebrated National Lipstick Day at Abreeza Mall in Davao City.
On July 29, Davao fans of MAC trooped to its first location in Mindanao to avail of its special promo and have their photos taken with Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2017 Rachel Peters. Make-up demos also drew some crowd who wanted to know the proper application to enhance their facial assets.
Since its soft opening last June 29, MAC-Abreeza has already been consistent in keeping the interest of the Davao market. In fact, in its first two days of operation here, it has already generated a sales value of P600,000.
"We are very optimistic about the Davao market," marketing executive Lesley Anne Guevarra said in an interview with SunStar Davao. She revealed that on its opening day here, MAC was able to hit the P220,000 mark in sales, and that was only from 6 to 9pm.
While MAC Philippines has plans of opening another branch in Mindanao, Guevarra pointed out that it "not now yet. Maybe, in two to three years."
In the meantime, sales executive Jean Padilla, who handles the Davao City branch of the well-loved cosmetics brand, shared that since the opening day of MAC-Abreeza, it has already become the second top store all over the country.
"Since we opened, naging number 2 store namin si Davao, next to MOA (Mall of Asia in Pasay City)," she said. "We have 21 stores in the country."
For her part, Rachel Peters, who really stunned the crowd with her slender physique and captivating beauty, admitted that she is really into MAC make-up kita now.
"Before joining Bb. Pilipinas, I was kinda tomboy," she said. "But right now, I'm really into it (make-up) already."
It was the beauty queen's first visit in Davao to celebrate National Lipstick Day.
