AROUND a year ago, I did a review on Coffee Grounds and I think it would be nice to review the place again.
My friend, Isa, loves this coffee shop and she has always told me that the next time we have dinner together, we have it here. She said the food here is good. In my previous visits, I only had their pastries, sandwiches, or drinks.
Isa and I finally found the time to have dinner here again. This time, I was very happy about my visit. Hence, this new blog post on the coffee shop.
Coffee Grounds has made some changes with the coffee shop like instead of regular chairs and tables they have a bar table and stools on one part of the coffee shop. Also they somehow maximized the space in the dining area to make way for a bigger kitchen. They also have some booths on the second floor now.
What I really loved about coffee shop is the ambiance. I find it to be really cozy and relaxing. I like the coolness of the place though some might find it a bit too cold but they do have some blankets on the side if you need one.
For our visit here, we ordered the Pepperoni & Basil Pizza (P280), Spaghetti Bolognese (P270), Pollo Pesto Pasta (P245), Dark Choco Latte Truffle (P160), Cappuccino (P130), and an Oreo Cheesecake.
Overall, the food here was pretty good and I was definitely impressed.
The service at Coffee Grounds was consistently good. The staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating.
Overall, Coffee Grounds is a great coffee shop in Davao City with its good food and drinks. The coffee shop’s ambiance is undeniably among the best the city.
Should you be looking for a coffee shop in Davao City, I do recommend dropping by here.
