It was learned Lee visited the city for more than 10 times already and last of which was some ten months ago for an official visit.
This time, Lee is in the city to grace the Taiwan centennial celebration by local Chinese community.
The ambassador said unlike any other cities in Mindanao, where stores and business establishments usually close at 6 p.m., Davao City has a lot to offer to visitors even beyond that hour.
Aside from that, the kind of life that the city offers, not only to its locals but also to its visitors, is one big factor for his coming back.
"In Davao, you can walk, and go out even at night and you can feel that you are safe here," Lee said adding that in some parts of the country, particularly in Mindanao, nighttime is not a very good time to stroll around downtown to see things and see what the city has to offer.
He expressed his admiration to how the Dutertes run the city manifested by disciplined and law-abiding constituents.
