Suspects Lumen and Richard were arrested on San Pedro street on Friday around 1 p.m. while Albarracim and Ruta were arrested on F. Torres Street on Sunday around 3 p.m.
Rivera said the suspects are believed to be behind several theft and robbery incidents in Davao City.
"We have heard lots of complaints against the suspects so we conducted surveillance to verify the reports, and we found out that these suspects are also behind the theft incidents here in the city," Rivera said.
But Ruta denied the accusation hurled against him. "I don't steal. I was even surprised when the police arrested me," he said.
The suspects are detained at San Pedro police Station awaiting charges to be filed against them.
