A 41-YEAR-old woman is facing charges before the Regional Trial Court (RTC) for marrying another man despite being married to two other men.
The City Prosecution Office (CPO) charged Jessica D. Enriquez with bigamy based on the affidavit-complaint of Vicente Abanto, 83, of Quezon Boulevard.

Abanto, in his affidavit, said their marriage on December 29, 2010 was solemnized by a priest of Iglesia Filipina Independiente, but Enriquez refused to live with him in his house for reasons he does not know.
He added that the accused would always demand for financial support.
Abanto, who is a pensioner, added that he was detained twice due to various allegations made by Enriquez.
In September 2011, he found out that Enriquez was married to two other men through a certification sent by the National Statistics Office Manila Office of the Civil Registrar General.
The certification was signed by Carmelita Ericta, NSO administrative and civil registrar general, thus the filing case.
The respondent failed to submit her counter-affidavit.
Prosecutor Jose P. Garcia Jr. found probable cause to charge the respondent.
The CPO elevated the case to the Regional Trial Court-Office of the Clerk of Court Wednesday morning.
Garcia recommended a P20,000 bail for Enriquez. (Arianne Caryl N. Casas)
