A COTABATEÑO placed ninth among 533 nationwide passers for the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination administered on March 6-7.
Imelda Solon, professional regulation officer for Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) in Davao Region, said Glaselle Joy Murcia Bendol of Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) got a rating score of 87.40 percent.
The PRC records showed that Vincent Edouard Retardo Gullas from Velez College in Cebu City topped the list with a rating score of 92.50 percent.
She said the total number of passers garnered a national passing rate of 66.29 percent out of the 804 takers.
Solon could not give, however, the number of passers in Davao Region because their database is centralized, thus the non-clustering of passers.
Davao City schools are yet to release the names of their successful examinees.
The examination areas were held in the cities of Manila, Cebu, and Baguio.
