Salesman robbed, stabbed

A 25-YEAR-OLD man landed in a hospital after he was robbed and stabbed by two unidentified men at Bayview on Kilometer 11 in Sasa, Davao City on Monday evening.
Senior Police Officer 3 Alfredo Heriane, Buhangin police investigator, identified the victim as John Gloria delos Santos, beer salesman of the ECQ Marketing Corp. and resident of barangay Pampanga, Davao City.
Initial investigation showed that the victim along with his driver Rommil Fuentes and helper Christopher Butlig were in the area around 9 p.m. to collect empty bottles of beer from their clients.
Heriane said Fuentes and Butlig left delos Santos for awhile when two unidentified suspects appeared and sat beside the victim.
One of the two stabbed delos Santos, while the other one took the P100,000 cash collection from the victim.
The victim sustained a stabbed wound in the right portion of his body and was brought to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) for treatment.
The police are now conducting further investigation to locate the whereabouts of the attackers.
