POLICE arrested Monday three robbery suspects who broke into a house at St. Anthony Village in Barangay Angliongto, Davao City.
Superintendent Royina Garma, chief of Sasa Police Station, identified the suspects as Enzo (name withheld for being a minor), 14, of Sasa; Alvin Maru Alidian, 23, of Butuan City, and Jess, 13, resident of Matina Bucana in Davao City.
Garma said Enzo and Alvin were arrested at around 3:30 a.m. after the incident, while Jess was arrested at around 5 a.m. at the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) in Ecoland Subdvision.
She said the three are among the six suspects, who robbed the house of one Emmanuel Dultra Maniquis.
The suspects took assorted jewelry worth P90,000, P10,000 cash, and $1,000 US dollars.
But the three denied the accusation against them.
According to Alidian, they were asked to be "lookouts" by the three unidentified men, who were behind the robbery incident.
Garma said they have already launched a manhunt operation against three other robbers, while Enzo and Jess are temporarily under the custody of the Women and Children's Protection Desk of the Sasa police.
Alidian is now detained at Sasa police. (ICT)
