Cops still clueless on identity of gang in stabbing of 2

POLICE are still trying to identify a group of teenagers who stabbed a student and a laborer at Bajada in Davao City, Sunday morning.
SPO1 Raul Lucas, investigator of San Pedro police station, identified the victims as Rogeemar Elcano, 22, and Jade Banzon, 26, both residents of El Rio Vista on Diversion Road.
Initial investigation showed the victims were on their way home from the Metro Station on J.P. Laurel Avenue when a group of teenagers attacked and stabbed them several times without provocation.
Elcano sustained to stab wounds in his stomach and right arm, while Banzon had several stab wounds in different parts of the body. The victims were brought to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
Lucas said the group of teenagers might be members of a notorious gang in the city and they might be looking for some trouble though he cannot yet confirm unless the investigation is done. (Ivy C. Tejano)
