A WOMAN is facing charges before the Regional Trial Court (RTC) for not paying her hotel bills that reached more than P60,000.
Charged with estafa was a certain Bing Tulio based on a complaint filed by Mark Villasenor and Abegail Paria, both employees of Ritz Hotel and Garden Oases.
Tulio reportedly stayed at the hotel for 22 days. In a joint affidavit, the complainants said the respondent checked in at the hotel around 7:30 p.m. on April 6, 2012 and registered as Bing Tulio.
The respondent left the hotel around 10 a.m. on April 28 and told them that she was going to withdraw money from the bank, Villasenor and Pasia said.
However, Tulio never came back and did not pay her bills amounting to P61,318.
The two hotel employees said Tulio earlier threatened them that if they would not allow her to stay longer she would tell the owner of the hotel who she claims is her friend.
The City Prosecution Office recommended P30,000 bail for the respondent's temporary liberty. (Arianne caryl N. Casas)
