"Hindi po ako nandito for enjoyment, nandito po ako para kumuha ng inspiration para sa ika gaganda at ikasisigla ng turismo sa ating bansa (I am not here for personal enjoyment, I am here to be inspired on how to further improve our country's tourism sector)," Jimenez said.
Jimenez lauded the people behind the success of this year's Kadayawan, as well as the city's and the region's vibrant tourism.
He also lauded the regional chief of DOT in Davao Region Arturo Boncato Jr.
Saturday's event was well-attended not only by locals of Davao City but also visitors from all sectors across the country.
