Burglar carts away P65,000 valuables

AROUND P65,000 worth of valuables were lost after an unidentified man broke into a house at Block 56 Lot 5, Villa Carina Subdivision, Baliok, Davao City on Wednesday afternoon.
Superintendent Dionisio Abude, chief of the Talomo Police Station, identified the victim as Rosalia Sotomayor Morales, 34, housewife, owner of the house.
Initial investigation showed the victim left their house to attend important matters in a school. When she returned home around 4 p.m., her house was in disarray especially inside the two bedrooms.
The suspect carted away the victim's laptop with charger, broadband, digital camera, SLR digital camera, PSP, and cellular phone.
Abude said the suspect gained entry through the back perimeter fence from an unattended lot of a subdivision and passed through some houses before he went inside the house of the victim.
Abude said they are now conducting a manhunt operation against the suspect who is believed to be just in the city. (ICT)
