Probe report on preggy inmate now with BJMP

THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) said the investigation on how an inmate was impregnated while in detention has concluded and the report was forwarded to its central office in Manila.
BJMP regional director Amelia Talento said the central office is conducting further evaluation on the issue. The female inmate was impregnated last year.
"We are now preparing the papers against jail personnel found to be involved in this incident," she said, adding they are set to file appropriate charges soon.
Earlier, BJMP claimed the female detainee was allegedly impregnated by another inmate.
The question that jail personnel are answerable to is how the two got together since the female facility is separate from the jail for men.
