DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio said all is set for her third and last State of the City Address (Soca) slated September 25.
Speaking in her weekly press briefing Monday, Duterte-Carpio said just like her second Soca, her last Soca will only be around three to four pages.
The three of four-page speech will highlight the achievements and accomplishments of all City Hall during the previous year.
"Sila akong gina papili kung unsa ang ilang gusto na i-highlight na achievements sa ilang mga departments (I gave them the prerogative to choose what achievements they want to highlight for their respective departments)," the mayor said, referring to all 19 department heads.
Duterte-Carpio said among the things she will highlight on her third Soca will be the top performing departments and the city mayor's office accomplishments.
"Kung unsa tong mga nabuhat namo sa niaging tuig, mao ra pud to ang akong hisgutan (I will discuss in my Sona what we have achieved in the past year)," Duterte-Carpio earlier said.
Last year, the mayor delivered a four-page speech that lasted for more than half an hour.
Among the things that Duterte-Carpio mentioned in her last Soca was her firm opposition against mining in the city.
Just a few months ago, when the new mining policy was issued by President Benigno Aquino III, the mayor reiterated that she won't allow metallic mining to enter the area of Davao City.
