PROPERTY Developer Filinvest will hold a "resume party" on September 21 in Davao City, in a bid to attract vibrant and energetic manpower for their operations in the country.
Manilyn Angeli Yong, recruitment officer of Filinvest, in an interview told Sun.Star Davao that they are eyeing at least 150 walk-in applicants to join and drop-in their resume and party the whole night.
Yong described the resume party as a recruitment activity of Filinvest wherein applicants get free drinks/cocktails when they submit their resume.
The party will be held at the newly-opened Business Class Bar at Bricklane Square on Palma Gil St. in Barrio Obrero.
She said the event is Filinvest's own way to strengthen its sales team in Davao City just like what they did in Metro Manila and Cebu.
"Davao is a very promising city and there are lots of talented individuals looking for fulfilling careers. We're certain they'll find it in Filinvest," she said.
"It's better if they come with their friends because the coupons are cumulative. Meaning, if they are a group of 10, they can submit 10 resumes and that is equivalent to 10 coupons with a total worth of P1,000. That's already two pitchers of cocktail drinks at Business Class. Plus each pitcher comes with a pica-pica of their choice. So, the more people you bring, the better," Yong added.
Yong said Filinvest has brought in a unique recruitment style in Davao City which has already been practiced by top call centers in Metro Manila.
"Call centers in Manila usually do parties like this but they do it in clubs. We decided to do it in a resto bar so that they have the option to either sit back and chill or dance with the DJ's mixes," she said.
Yong added that this will be the first time that Filinvest will be doing this kind of recruitment activity and it will be launched in Davao City.
