300 more jobs to accommodate applicants – City Hall-A A +A

THE City Hall Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO) called for applicants to send in their applications as there are more than 300 permanent positions that are set to be filled up.
Erwin Alparaque, HRMO chief, said Thursday during the I-Speak forum held at the City Hall tthat here are positions in the City Government that do not require legibility for Civil Service Commission (CSC).
He said the department is conducting interview every Wednesday in order to accommodate applicants who passed the pre-qualifying examinations.
“Anyone can apply for as long as you know that you are qualified for the job, you can apply here at the) City Hall,” Alparaque said.
A total of 513 regular positions at the City Hall are set to be filled in, he said.
He said as of Thursday, the plantilla positions in the City Hall were filled by around 2,520 applicants but they still have to meet its total work force of 2,831 positions.
Apart from the plantilla position, the city also has a total of 8,468 job order positions.
He said the vacant positions were due to the resignation, retirement or promotion of City Hall employees. (Jereco O. Paloma)
