2 gays sued for theft

TWO homosexuals accused of stealing electronic gadgets inside a house of a woman were charged before the City Prosecution Office (CPO) Tuesday.
Talomo police filed theft complaints against Jeffrey Aguirre Apura, alias Jessica, 19, a native of Panabo City, and Cristito Mariquit Tabudlong, alias Kim, 29, a native of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. Both gay suspects are residents of Talusa in Talomo, Davao City.
They were brought for an inquest proceeding before Prosecutor Jay Karel Sanchez.
Police identified the victim as Revi Jane Mahinay Suni, 20, of SGR Village in Catalunan Grande, Davao City.
Suni’s house was ransacked. Missing were her HP laptop worth P50,000, a Sony laptop worth P50,000, a Sony PSP Slim worth P7,000, a digital camera worth P20,000 and a mobile phone worth P5,000.
She reported the incident to Catalunan Grande police substation.
In a follow-up operation conducted by Catalunan Grande substation with barangay police, the two accused were arrested after the lost items were recovered from them. (Arianne Caryl N. Casas)
