Junkshop in Panacan robbed

A JUNK SHOP on Diversion Road in Panacan, Davao City was robbed by six armed men around 9:40 a.m. Friday.
The victim was identified as Reynaldo delos Santos, owner of Marky's Junkshop.
Based on initial investigation conducted by Sasa Police Chief Royina Garma, two unidentified men on board a black motorcycle without plate number entered the junk shop and posed as dealers of scrap iron around 7:40 a.m.
The two men waited for the owner and when the latter arrived, one of the robbers held up the owner at gunpoint.
Four other armed men on board motorcycles arrived shortly and detained the other workers inside a container van.
The first two men who arrived at the junk shop forced the owner to open the steel cabinet where some valuables were stashed.
Taken from the steel cabinet were P500,000 in cash, assorted jewelries, a PAS 12 shotgun bearing license number 140550 under the name of the owner, one digital camera, a DVR closed-circuit television (CCTV), one iPhone and two MyPhone mobile phones.
After taking the items, the robbers also locked up the owner inside the container van along with the other workers.
Joint forces of the Intelligence and Detection Management Branch (IDMB), Scene of the Crime Operatives and Sasa police are conducting further investigation to arrest the robbers.
