Suspected robber nabbed

POLICE arrested a robber who victimized a house in Nagsil Village, Barangay Centro, Agdao District, Davao City Monday.
The arrested suspect was identified as one Enrique Taray Sanico, alias Tarik, 20, unemployed and a resident of Sta. Lucia Village, Barangay Centro, Agdao District.
His victims were identified as Amilex Clayton Cornilles Borboran, a 31-year-old promoter of HP Products and Michelle Perez Borboran, a 28-year-old college student.
Sanico was arrested at his home at around 6:30 a.m. after Sta. Ana police conducted a follow up investigation following the complaint of the victims.
Based on the initial investigation conducted by Sta. Ana police, the victims were asleep when the suspect took away one HP1000 Netbook worth P15,990 and two units of black Samsung mobile phones worth P6,000.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect destroyed the chain lock at the main door of their house and once inside, he took away the gadgets.
The victims then complained that one alias Tarik robbed their house. Sta. Ana police then proceeded to the residence of the suspect and from there they recovered the aforementioned stolen items.
Sanico is now detained at the Sta. Ana police station and is awaiting charges for robbery.
