Man from Marawi caught with shabu

POLICE filed charges before the City Prosecution Office against a suspect for illegal drugs on Tuesday.
Senior Inspector Ranulfo A. Cabañog, case tracker team leader of Davao City Police Office’s Investigation and Detection Management Branch (DCPO–IDMB), identified the suspect as Sajdamin Mastor Ayob, who hails from Barangay Bangun in Marawi City and is now a resident of Isla Verde in Barangay 23-C Boulevard in Davao City.
Cabañog said the suspect was charged with violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Recovered from the possession of the suspect were one regular heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu and medium plastic sachet of suspected shabu with street value of P3,500, and P500 marked money.
The suspect was brought before Prosecutor Stella Esparagoza–Camino on Tuesday around 9 a.m. for inquest proceedings.
Cabañog said the suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Mini Forest, Barangay 23-C, Boulevard in Davao City on Monday around 2 p.m. He added that the suspect is now detained at the DCPO jail facility. (Ivy C. Tejano)
