PDEA operatives collar 6 drug suspects-A A +A

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Davao Region nabbed six alleged drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in the region recently.
PDEA's biggest catch was in the buy-bust operation launched by the Davao del Norte Provincial Drug Enforcement Office (DNPDEO) led by intelligence officer 3 (IO3) Jenalyn Tan and under the supervision of deputy regional director Joel B. Plaza.
The raid, conducted in coordination with the intelligence division of the Davao del Norte Provincial Police Office (DNPPO) led by Supt. Glenn Cristines, resulted to the arrest of one Dana Mylene Villar Rabadon.
Rabadon was seized around 2 p.m. Wednesday in Purok Talisay, Barangay Magugpo East, No. 55, Tagum City.
Recovered from the possession of the suspect were seven big plastic sachets containing a total of around 35 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated value of P321,000.
PDEA regional director Emerson Rosales, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao, said they have been closely monitoring Rabadon.
"Matagal na 'tong under surveillance dahil kasama siya sa aming watchlist. Sa aming pag-imbestiga sa kanya naka-provide siya ng information kung saan nanggaling ang drugs so agad kaming nagconduct ng buy-bust (The suspect has long been under surveillance as she is part of our watchlist. In our investigation on Rabadon, she was able to provide information on her source of drugs so we immediately conducted a buy-bust operation,)" Rosales said.
Operatives of PDEA conducted another buy-bust operation midnight Wednesday at at C.M. Recto Ave., fronting Aveflor Inn which and collared Nasrudin M. Laguiali, alias Nash, a 40-year old driver and a resident of Crossing Simway; Cotabato City, Basare Bra Abbas, a 29-year old driver, married and also a resident of Crossing Simway, Cotabato City; Datu Men Karon, a 30-year old driver, married, and a resident of Maguindanao; Daud Ali Malang, a 40-year old driver and a resident of Kitango, Dulawan, Datu Piang, Maguindanao; and Mama Samilon Sailila, a 40-year-old farmer and also a resident of Datu Piang, Maguindanao.
The five suspects were all inside a white pickup bearing plate number CTE-555 when they were arrested as Laguiali handed a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu to a PDEA operative who acted as poseur buyer.
Also recovered from the suspects were one improvised glass tooter placed inside a plastic marker, buy-bust money worth P500 and boodle money worth P14,500.
"Rabadon pointed these suspects as her supplier of drugs and they have also provided information on their source of shabu. We have already relayed the information to the PDEA in Cotabato City," Rosales said.
PDEA 11 was set to file cases against the suspects for violation of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
