2 killed, 1 hurt in separate shooting incidents-A A +A

TWO persons, including a woman, were killed while another was wounded in three separate shooting incidents in Davao City on Friday and Saturday.
The first incident happened at the Minute Burger House fronting Coca-Cola Plant, Ulas around 8 p.m. Friday that wounded Michael Garcia, alias Tayao, 20, dispatcher, resident of Manggahan in Ulas.
Record from the Talomo Police Station showed that the victim was just selling burgers in his post when an unidentified man wearing black jacket and helmet approached and shot him once.
Police said the victim managed to run but the suspect chased him. The suspect only boarded a motorcycle and fled when he noticed the crowd on the area, where the victim hid.
The victim is now treated at the Davao Adventist Hospital, while the police are conducting investigation.
The second incident happened along San Pedro Street and Legaspi Street on Friday around 8:45 p.m. The victim was identified as Jessie de Dios Nuñez, 45, a driver, of No. 53 Riverside in Bolton Isla.
Investigation of San Pedro Police Station showed that the victim was just selling goods beside his motorcycle along with his girlfriend when the gunman onboard a motorcycle arrived and shot the victim several times.
The victim succumbed to six gunshot wounds, four in the head; one in the chest; and one at the back of his body, while the suspect fled to an unknown direction. Police are already conducting investigation on the matter.
The third incident involved a 42-year-old mother who was gunned down in front of Matina Aplaya Elementary School in Matina Aplaya on Saturday around 3:55 p.m. The victim was identified as Roselle Bala, 24, of NHA Bangkal.
Talomo Police Station records showed that the victim along with her daughter was on their way home after attending a school activity when a gunshot blasted from nowhere and hit the victim.
Records from the Davao City Police Office's Investigations and Detection Management Branch showed 41 were killed from shooting incidents since July 1 this year.
