CHARGES have been filed before the City Prosecutor's Office against three suspects who robbed a 51-year-old businesswoman in Buhangin, Davao City last August 18.
Facing charges are Ruffy Hao Morata, Janette Morata Jallores and Benjamin Jallores, Jr.
The complaint was filed under regular filing by Cristina Quinamot Parilla of Mayon St., Juliville subd. in Tigatto, Buhangin as the three accused are yet to be arrested.
Parilla told police that around 10 a.m. on August 18, the suspects onboard a maroon van drove by her and asked for directions on where to buy chemicals used in preserving tuna. The complainant gave the suspects the direction, but the latter allegedly did not understand her instructions as they were speaking in English.
The complainant then boarded the suspects' vehicle after they invited her to take them to where they could buy the said chemicals. But while Parilla was inside the vehicle, the suspects took her gold bracelet worth P11,000 and two rings worth P20,000. The suspects then left Parilla at Milan crossing Buhangin.
Police are conducting an operation to hunt down the suspects.
