Cops hunt 4 persons for shooting boy-A A +A

POLICE are now looking for the gunman and his three companions who shot a 16-year-old boy in Punta Dumalag, Matina Aplaya in Davao City on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Daniel Bebanco Cuizon of Matina Aplaya in Davao City. He is still in critical condition at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) after sustaining several gunshot wounds.
Superintendent Julius E. Silagan, chief of Talomo police, said they are checking on the background of the victim, whether he is involved with a gang or has had a fight with another person.
Police investigation showed that Cuizon and his three female friends were sniffing vulca seal underneath a mangrove tree at the seashore when four unidentified men approached them, one of whom shot the boy.
The suspects immediately walked away from the crime scene and boarded on blue and red motorcycles without plate numbers.
Recovered from the crime scene were one-and-half liter of vulca seal, wallet with some documents inside and a pair of slippers. (Ivy C. Tejano/Sun.Star Davao/Sunnex)
