DAVAO City administrator Melchor Quitain said he wants the one-stop shop at the City Hall lobby revived after long queues were noticed Monday.
Quitain said he has requested the department heads of the City Assessor's Office, City Treasurer's Office and Business Bureau to fix the system within their departments and "make improvements physically" to avoid long lines at the City Hall lobby.
He said he plans to revive the previous system where priority numbers are distributed and applicants are provided seats.
"I want all these things to be activated. Para atong mga katawhan diri (So that the applicants) will feel comfortable while waiting for their documents to be processed," Quitain said.
Quitain said these improvements must be done immediately in anticipation of huge number of applicants in January for the renewal of business permits. (Arianne Caryl N. Casas)
