CHARGES were filed before the City Prosecutor's Office against two men who allegedly tried to kill another man in a shooting incident in Bankerohan, Davao City Tuesday.

Facing frustrated murder charges are Archie Tejas and Miming Malawi, both residents of Barangay 5-A Bryco, in Bankerohan. The suspects were charged for trying to kill Dio-Ar Berque Tipontipon, 25, a room keeper at the Davao Doctors Hospital.

Investigation of the San Pedro police revealed that the incident took place around 5:15 a.m. The complainant was on his way to work when the respondents allegedly approached him and asked for the time.

When the respondent was about to answer, one of the respondents shot him on his ear with an undetermined firearm. Fortunately the complainant was able to flee averting further injuries, while the respondents fled as well towards an unknown direction.

Further investigation of the police revealed that Tejas and Malawi are members of Warshock Gang, a notorious gang involved in stabbing and shooting incidents within Bankerohan.

The case was filed through regular filing as police are yet to arrest the suspects.
