2 women behind cybersex den sued-A A +A

POLICE filed charges before the City Prosecution Office against two women accused as operators of a cybersex den after they were arrested in a raid at Purok 26, Barangay Bucana in Davao City.
April Lyn Sinasap, 24, and Kristin Abaro-Sinasap, 30, are facing charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9208 or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012, RA 9775 or the Regulations of the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009 and RA 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The two were charged after they were arrested in an operation spearheaded by the Anti-Cybercrime Group and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Women and Children's Protection Division.
Reports from CIDG-WCPD showed the operation was launched at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday by virtue of a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 17 Judge Evalyn Arellano-Morales.
During the operation, authorities were able to rescue seven minor victims whom they endorsed to the City Social Services and Development Office for stress debriefing.
Recovered from the suspected cybersex den, meanwhile, were one Asus laptop, one Globe Tattoo Broadband, one Samsung mobile phone, one Cherry Mobile phone and one PLDT Telepad, which were endorsed to the Regional Digital Forensic Laboratory in the region for examination.
The respondents are currently detained at the DCPO detention facility while the recovered gadgets will be used against them during court proceedings.
