City waiting for Malacanang reply on Araw

THE City Government of Davao has already requested the Malacañang to declare March 17, Monday, as special non-working holiday in observance with the Araw ng Davao 2014 celebration.

City Administrator Melchor Quitain said the Malacañang is yet to approve the city's request.

"We anticipate that that will be approved," Quitain said.
