Security guard faces gun raps-A A +A

A SECURITY guard was charged before the City Prosecutor's Office for allegedly trespassing the room of another at D' Counter Inn on Camus St., Davao City and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition on April 22.
Facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition and disobedience to authority is Baddy Puno Sordilla of the Fireball Security Agency who hails from Digos City, Davao del Sur.
He was charged after he was arrested by operatives of San Pedro police who acted upon the complaints of Danilene Malik Lagmay, 36 and a native of Pasig City and Sherwin Pansoy.
Report of the San Pedro police revealed that the incident took place at around 10 p.m. Lagmay reportedly sought the assistance first of Pansoy after the suspect allegedly barged in her room and sat on her bed.
Pansoy tried to talk to the suspect yet the latter challenged him to a fistfight. This prompted the complainants to seek police assistance.
When policemen arrived to arrest the suspect, the latter acted unruly and refused to turn himself in to the authorities. Instead, he challenged one of the responding police officers to a fistfight.
Police managed to subdue Sordilla and took him to the San Pedro police station. When police searched his belongings, they recovered one Armscor 9mm pistol with three magazines and 24 live ammos from the suspect's backpack.
The suspect is currently detained at the San Pedro police station while his case is being resolved at the fiscal's office.
