EVEN Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City aspires to win the P700 million jackpot prize of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) 6/55 Grand Lotto draw on Saturday.
Duterte placed his bet at a betting station on San Pedro Street Thursday evening. He said he paid P240 for 12 number combinations.
The vice mayor said that if the luck comes on his way, he will share his winnings to less fortunate citizens of the city.
"Dili kanang kwarta jud mismo pud akong iabot sa ila, kundili maghimo ko ug mga pamaagi kung unsaon makatabang jud ko sa ilang mga kinahanglan," Duterte said.
Before Saturday's draw thousands of people had been queuing up in lotto outlets all over the country trying their luck win the multimillion prize.(ICT)
