UNLIKE his trainer, Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao refused to make predictions for his coming fight with Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto other than to emerge triumphant on November 14 (November 15 in Manila) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pacquiao said he is one hundred percent ready to face Cotto for the latter's World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown.

If he wins, Pacquiao will become the first boxer in the world to win a seventh crown in different weight categories.
"I can say right now I'm ready to do the fight. It's all set," Pacquiao was quoted by ABS-CBN as saying.
Roach had earlier predicted that the fight won't last the distance, even boldly announcing weeks ago that Cotto won't last the first round.
This forecast elicited a strong reaction from the Cotto camp, which immediately countered by saying that Pacquiao has his weaknesses as what were seen in the Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez showdown.
Pacquiao, the power puncher from General Santos City, has been installed the favorite when he faces the Puerto Rican hero a week from now.
Cotto is stronger, younger and naturally the bigger fighter between the two, but Pacquiao is much quicker and also boasts of power in both hands.
In his previous three fights, Pacquiao destroyed David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton one after the other to become the world's pound-for-pound king. (CRAM)
