A CANCER survivor, who was painlessly cured of cancer in just 27 days, is in Davao to let people know that he would be bringing here the Chinese doctors who had cured him.
Nestor Bonifacio said he found out he had stage 4 prostate cancer in July 2007. In 2008, his brother Domingo did a research on the internet and found out a hospital in China called Fuda. What's different about this hospital is that it does not do open surgeries. Rather, it uses cryosurgery where a tumor is frozen and then thawed until it dies.

After he was healed, he went back to the Philippines and started telling the people about the news. He was interviewed by the Manila Bulletin in July 2009, by Karen Davila in August 2009 and by other several notable journalists. His story also appeared in a Malaysian newspaper.
When asked if there are any plans to open a facility similar to Fuda in the Philippines, he said that it would be very difficult, not to mention expensive.
"If they ever open up a hospital in the Philippines, the rates will be much higher," he said. "It would be cheaper to just go to China and undergo treatment there."
While it is nearly impossible to bring the facility here, Bonifacio worked hard to bring the doctors to the Philippines. He and his group, the Philippine Volunteers for Fuda, have held seminars in the country and were able to help many cancer patients.
"Now, an average of 50 Filipino cancer patients travel to China to go to Fuda and undergo treatment," Bonifacio said.
"Through voluntary efforts, we are able to bring the doctors in Fuda to the Philippines to give seminars and free consultations," he added.
The seminar on cancer treatment will be held on the August 28, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Royal Ballroom of the Royal Mandaya Hotel. A free consultation will be held at the afternoon and on the following day at the Abba's Orchard school.
