A Night at Deca

THE boom and bust of the real estate industry is affected by a lot of factors, but it is primarily dependent on the confidence of its biggest investors, the homeowners themselves.

And this was what Deca Homes Resort Residences (DHRR) experienced in the past couple of years. Despite the onslaught of the global financial crisis, DHRR, the latest project of 8990 Housing Development Corporation in Southern Mindanao, it continued to have record breaking sales.

It was only fitting that the developers of DHRR gave a grand thanksgiving party on March 3 to the homeowners that have continued to trust and depend on 8990.

JJ Atencio, president of 8990 Housing Development Corporation, told Sun.Star Davao that the confidence of their homeowners has been unfaltering over time despite the crisis.

Bringing in the country's top caliber artists like international crooner Christian Bautista, rockstar Miguel Escueta, and hosts MYX video jocks Janine Ramirez and Miko Morente.

Thousands of residents and invited guests of DHRR trooped to the expansive football field at the inland resort of DHRR to watch and join the spectacle prepared by the developers for their thanksgiving night.

Rockstar Miguel Escueta opened the show with his adrenaline pumping songs that sent girls swooning over him while everyone else jumped to his music.

Christian Bautista serenaded the crowd with love songs that had everyone falling in love again. And no mood could have been more romantic as the cool mountain breeze descended to the football field, sending lovers into each others arms for warmth.

The entire program was made more fun and easy as hosts Janine Ramirez and Miko Morente poked fun at each other, sharing jokes, and fooled around with the residents, giving away prizes and freebies throughout the entire night.

It was a fun night of thanksgiving at Deca Homes Resort Residences, showing proof that low cost housing means cheap. At Deca, it was shown that low cost can also come with class.
