Director’s Cut: (This portion features the thoughts of DepED 11 Regional Director Susana Teresa B. Estigoy, CESO IV to all stakeholders and recipients of the efforts to improve the basic education) I do not consider my job as plain work --- rather it is my LIFE. “We have to continually examine what succeeds and fails, and why. We have to uphold and live true to our battle cry and slogan of governance: “Education For All (EFA) 2015: Karapatan ng Lahat, Pananagutan ng Lahat.”

APPARENTLY, there is no short cut in attaining success. If there is, it will be short lived though there are exceptions. However, in general, the sweetest triumph comes from the bitterest struggle.

In pursuing a dream, one must be open to possibilities of doing a sacrifice, a point in life where you have to forget your comfort zone and traverse a road less travelled. The slim opportunity of succeeding is always open but the wide open possibility of failure is like a vulture ready to devour you. It is now a matter of convincing yourself that the sacrifice that you will do will always be worth it in the end.

Starting to pursue a dream lets you begin at the very start where all sort of challenges will have to be faced. This is the time where your patience will be tested up to the edge. This is the time that you will start to think whether you were right in deciding to even pursue it in the very first place or just be satisfied with your present state, not thinking that something better is in store for you.

Determined that your goal will not only benefit you but the rest of the people who will be the recipients of the innovative nature of your dream are a very noble motivation to keep going despite the odds.

If you will be up to four stages in pursuing your dream, these four stages offer various challenges, most of the times with increasing difficulties, tempting you to abandon what you have started. However, in every stage where you will be able to conquer all those obstacles with flying colors, you will be delighted with the happiness and satisfaction it will give you.

And as you culminate your dream after those mind boggling difficulties, you will be treated with the immeasurable tons of contentment you have not experienced yet in your lifetime.

Why I am telling all of these, I have only one short answer: BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!

I am glad, I am back!
