Today, the graduates both in elementary and secondary are sleeping soundly to replenish the lack of sleep due to anxiety and excitement brought by their exit from their previous level and entrance to the new level.

A few days from now, they will be deciding what next steps to do and go to people they will be spending their well deserved vacation (well, for those who really worked for it). This time, allow me to give you the Director’s wish to each one of you as you graduate and go to the next level of your student life. Here is is:

Congratulations to the parents, teachers, school administrators and graduates of Batch 2013-2014!

Today, you will fulfill one of your biggest dreams: it is your graduation day! It is a day to remember for the rest of your life as you receive your diploma because you will trudge another step in your academic life. This is just one of the many successes that awaits you in the near future.

All the efforts in the past years are reflected on this day as you march the aisle of success and determination. You have achieved this with patience and humility making your parents proud of the accomplishment you have received.

Our theme for this year’s graduation “Hindi Natitinag ang Pusong Pilipino” shows our strong and united spirit to stand over the different challenges. As Filipinos, we value sympathy and love especially during the time of calamities that struck our country recently. No matter what our status in life is, we still become very resilient and positive in helping one another.

Let us cultivate these values and pass it on to others as we embrace the demands and expectations of our society. We do not only need bright and intelligent Filipino graduates but who are also holistic individuals. We need graduates who have hearts and hands that will make our world worthy to live in. These individuals are the graduates of this school year.

Kindly bring all my prayers and best wishes to all of you as you continue to journey in the next challenge of life. With discipline and passion to excel, there is no doubt that you will triumph in your dreams.

Once again, my heartfelt felicitations to one and all.

This corner hopes that you will pursue your dreams dear graduates with your resilient spirit!
