A 5.4 MAGNITUDE earthquake struck some 78 kilometers off the shore of Mati in Davao Oriental.
Based on the report of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the earthquake struck at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday.

The epicenter of the earthquake was registered at the location of 07.32N, 126.79 degrees at a depth of 078.0 or approximately 78 kilometers north, 56 degrees east of the town of Mati in Davao Oriental.
A 5.2-intensity was felt in Tagum City.
There were no immediate reports of injuries and damages, but tremors were strongly felt in Davao City.
