INTERNATIONAL televangelist Apollo Quiboloy said recently that he could not yet decide on who would be his presidential choice for the coming May polls, as he is still waiting for more signs and dreams.

With more than six million followers, Pastor Quiboloy is one of the most sought in this year’s elections with nearly all presidential aspirants, except for devout catholic JC delos Reyes, seeking his blessings.

He, however, made it very clear that the choice on who to endorse is not his to make but that of the Divine Almighty who reveals to him who should be president of the nation on Election Day.

He said that for this year, he already received two signs by way of his dreams.

First, he had a dream about former President Corazon Aquino, the mother of Liberal Party standard bearer Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

The second is more direct, with Quiboloy’s mother telling him to consider Nacionalista Party bet Senator Manny Villar as president for the next six years.

Interestingly, both Aquino and Villar were the ones who snubbed the presidential forum of Quiboloy last March 9.

"I will continue to wait for more signs to be revealed. Villar is my mother's choice; now I have to wait for my father's choice," Quiboloy said in an interview at his compound, stressing that his mother’s pick should conform to his father’s presidential bet.

But as to when he will announce his endorsed candidate for the presidency, Quiboloy said it will be on his birthday, April 26.

"The cut-off of my prayer would be on my birthday. Kung ano ang sasabihin ng Diyos Ama sa akin, tulad ng ginawa niya sa huling Presidente. Kung may ipapahayag ang Diyos sa akin tulad ng pagpapahayag sa akin sa panahon ni Estrada at PGMA (President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo), I will proclaim," the televangelist said.

In the past two presidential polls, candidates endorsed by Quiboloy have won the elections, like President Joseph Ejercito Estrada and President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
