Quiboloy's followers unafraid of RP scare

Wednesday, September 8, 2010

THE negative advisories and travel ban to the Philippines spawned by the botched hostage-taking incident did not stop foreign delegates of an international convention to visit Davao City.

Fifty foreign countries have sent delegates Sunday to the 25th Anniversary and the 14th International Kingdom Leaders Convention of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy's Jesus the Name Above Every Name's congregation.

Ng Hing Lung, a Chinese national and a Minister of their local ministry in Hong Kong, said last Sunday that despite the treatment given by some Hong Kong citizens toward the Filipinos, he was able to maintain a good relationship with his Filipino brothers and sisters in faith.

But he admitted that as a minister, reaching out to people of Hong Kong was a big dilemma on his part.

He noted that most Hong Kong citizens have a superiority complex "that hinders us to reach out to them."

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ has reached over 200 countries worldwide like Japan, Cambodia, Portugal, Egypt, Africa, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, USA, France, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil, Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, and several others. (Jereco O. Paloma)
