Sara-Rody athletics meet set

THE Mayor Sara and Vice Mayor Rody Duterte Kadayawan Track and Field Competition will get underway on September 11 and 12 at the Davao City National High School (DCNHS) grounds.

The event will feature the boys and girls 13 years old and below and men's and women's 14 years old and above categories where cash prizes will be awarded to the first to fourth placers.

Arch-rivals Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) and the University of Mindanao (UM) are expected to bid for domination in the two-day event sanctioned by the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (Patafa) under regional director Belen Kempis Taala.

The trackfest is still part of the 25th Kadayawan Sports Festival presented by the city government of Davao through the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office (SDD-CMO). (MLSA)
