For more than 10 years, the Smed week aims to promote a sound entrepreneurial climate that allows the growth and boosts the innovativeness of the city's micro, small, and medium enterprises.
"There will be activities such as products and services showcase, and capability-building conferences," Ablang said.
The event is being primed as the unifying activity in the Davao region MSMED Council, thus it will showcase not only products from Davao City but also from the greater Davao region.
The weeklong activity will showcase the various products and services of micro, small, and medium enterprises of the city and of other parts of Southern Mindanao.
Also, trainings and seminars for budding entrepreneurs will be held at the NCCC Mall and at the lobby of the City Council.
The list of seminar topics would include developing and enhancing business using information technology, marketing and customer service, food safety and food packaging, and meat processing. (CPM)
