Soldier sued for molesting teenage girl

DAVAO City Prosecutor's Office formally charged a member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for molesting a 16-year-old girl in Paradise Embac, Paquibato district in November 2009.
Charged with acts of lasciviousness was Private First Class Kim Borromeo of the AFP's 69th Infantry Battalion after prosecutor Mariam Mastura recommended the filing of charges based on the victim's accounts.

The girl said she was filling up her water container at the village well around 1:30 p.m. of November 26, 2009 as the soldier kept on staring at her.
The man asked if he could court her but when she refused, he kissed her.
The soldier allowed her to leave when she gave her cellular phone number to him.
Mastura recommended a bail bond of P24,000 for the respondent's temporary liberty.
