Unheralded DCSP escaped a 26-24, 22-25, 25-15, 20-25, 15-8 victory over 2011 runner-up UM that settled for the runner-up honors instead.

The champions will advance to the regional finals set February 24 to 26 at UM Matina.
Coaches of DCSP men's and UM women's teams, however, will have the privilege to pick up players from other teams for the regional.
